I know that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and taking the first step toward therapy isn't always easy. I believe therapy works best when it's built on trust, collaboration, and authenticity, and I'm honored each time someone invites me to be part of their journey.

I have worked in the behavioral health field for the past six years and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Montana.

Originally from Minnesota, I moved to Missoula five years ago and quickly fell in love with everything Montana has to offer. From the mountains and rivers to the changing seasons, being surrounded by nature has become one of my favorite parts of calling Montana home.

I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from Walla Walla University and my Bachelor of Social Work from The College of Saint Scholastica.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll often find me embracing my creative side through fiber arts like crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching. I also love spending time outdoors—whether it's hiking, fishing, being on the water, or simply soaking up the sunshine. These activities help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, self-care, and making time for the things that bring us joy.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I appreciate you considering me. If you think we might be a good fit, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and the life you want to build.

Emma Mittelstadt, LCSW
